Inspire Home Care has put in place emergency COVID-19 policies, procedures and precautionary measures to reduce the risk of exposure to any virus. All caregivers and clients are provided appropriate personal protection equipment such as masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. Caregivers must wash their hands immediately when they arrive at the client’s home and they must also disinfect all high-touch surfaces daily (countertops, phones, kitchen appliances, tabletops, remote controls, bathroom fixtures, toilets, door knobs and keyboards). Also, caregivers and clients are monitored daily for the development of any COVID-19 symptoms.
These are just some of the many precautions Inspire has put in place to keep everyone safe. In some situations, where our client is at high risk or particularly vulnerable, Inspire has taken the extraordinary step of assigning a single caregiver to self- quarantine in the home with the client for the needed period of time to reduce exposure.
